Women from Derik vow to resist occupiers

In light of the violent attacks of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries on NE Syria, the people, especially women, confirm that protecting and defending the land is the duty and responsibility of every citizen and individual.

 The citizen Sawsan Youssef from the city of Derik confirmed that she is always ready to defend the gains of NE Syria peoples, and pointed out the importance of the people organizing themselves according to the foundations and principles of self-protection.

Youssef pointed out that throughout the years of the revolution, they trained on how to "organize and protect ourselves.

 Youssef explained that the enemies of the Kurdish people are plotting "genocide against us,"stressing  Kurdish unity and not allowing anyone to undermine the Kurds' gains and achievements.

 The citizen Zuleikha Muhammad also expressed her support for the Syrian Democratic Forces, and said: "We are ready to protect our land side by side with the Syrian Democratic Forces, and we believe that they will triumph over all the genocidal plots plotted against us."

 Muhammad continued her speech by pledging: " We will remain and adhere to our land, and we will not leave it to the occupiers."

The  citizen Wasfi Murad also stressed that in light of the attacks of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries on NE  Syria, " We must organize our society, our institutions and our work, and we must all have a revolutionary spirit in defending our land against any attack that may reach us."
