Who represents NE Syria in talks with Damascus?

The names of the representatives of the North and East Syria region in the dialogue with the Damascus government—aimed at implementing the agreement reached on March 10 between the SDF and the Damascus government—were revealed during the second meeting between the SDF leadership and representatives of the Damascus government.

 The representatives of the Dialogue Committee with the Damascus Government are:

 Fawza Yousef, the member of the Presidential Committee of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) (from the Kurdish component).

 Abd Hamid al-Mahbash, the Co-chair of the Future Syria Party and former co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (from the Arab component).

 Sanharib Barsoum, the Co-chair of the Syriac Union Party (from the Syriac community).

 Ahmed Yousef, the Co-chair of the Finance Authority in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (from the Kurdish community).

 Sozdar Haji, the member of the General Command of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) and member of the General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces (from the Kurdish component).

 The spokespersons for the committee are:

 Maryam Ibrahim, the Co-chair of the Authority for Social Affairs and Laborers in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (from the Arab component).

 Yasser Suleiman, the deputy Co-chair of the Democratic Peoples’ Council of North and East Syria (from the Arab component).
