The SDF Media Center announced today that one of its military vehicles came under armed attack late last night by an unidentified group on the road to al-Mu’ayzilah village, north of Raqqa, leaving two fighters wounded with varying degrees of injury.

The forces confirmed that their units immediately moved to comb the area and chase down those responsible, noting that security operations are continuing to track cells seeking to undermine safety and stability in the area.

In its statement, the SDF stressed that such attacks “will not deter it from continuing its mission to protect civilians and ensure security in North and East Syria.”
