Turkish occupation soldiers target farmers in a village in rural Kobani

Turkish occupation soldiers stationed on the border targeted farmers in the village of Kor Ali while they were watering their trees in the orchards.

ANHA's correspondent from the city of Kobani reported that Turkish occupation soldiers (gendarmes) stationed on the border with northern Kurdistan targeted farmers from the village of Kor Ali in the western countryside of the city with live ammunition and machine guns.

The correspondent noted that the farmers were watering olive trees in their orchards, located meters from the border, when they were targeted. She did not mention any information about any injuries or human losses.

During the past month of May, several incidents of Turkish occupation soldiers targeting villagers in the Kobani countryside were recorded.

They targeted two children who were herding their sheep with live ammunition. They were not injured, but the attack resulted in the deaths of several sheep.

They also targeted the village of Kor Ali earlier, firing at a citizen's electric generator, causing damage.
