Turkish occupation shells Duhok Governorate border 35 times
The American CPT organization reported that the Turkish occupation army carried out 35 attacks on the Duhok Governorate border today, Sunday.

The Turkish occupation state's attacks on Southern Kurdistan continue. In this context, the villages surrounding the city of Amadiya in Duhok Governorate were bombed 35 times today by the occupying Turkish state.
Kamran Othman, a member of the American CPT organization, announced on his Facebook page that from 9:10 AM to 3:00 PM, the Turkish army bombed Mount Gari and the villages of Maji, Kafn Miji, Spendari, and Gargash on the Amadiya border in Duhok Governorate 35 times.
Kamran Othman indicated that the bombing hit citizens' gardens and villagers' homes, causing damage to agricultural fields and farmers' homes and gardens in these villages.
It is worth noting that, following the call for peace and a democratic society issued by Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) held its 12th Congress between May 5 and 7 and announced that it would end all activities carried out in the name of the PKK.
This decision caused an uproar both internationally and domestically and was warmly welcomed. This is not the first time the PKK has taken steps to end the war and establish peace through its own initiative and leadership. However, the occupying Turkish state continues its attacks, ignoring the call for peace and failing to take any actual steps.
