The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries continue with their crimes against the occupied areas. In this context, sources from inside the occupied city of Serekaniye reported that "military police" mercenaries who obey the orders of the Turkish occupation intelligence started a wide kidnapping campaign in the city yesterday.

Sources quoted as saying that about 100 people were kidnapped yesterday, adding that the kidnappings are still ongoing today in the city as well.

The mercenaries claimed that the campaign targeted drug dealers, yet sources in the city confirmed the targets were those kidnapped by the mercenaries before the fall of the Ba'ath regime who were released on the day of the regime's fall under popular pressure and are now being kidnapped.

Sources emphasized, "The drugs have become in the city like any food commodity or any type of medicine due to the leaders' and elements of mercenaries' promotion.

Those were also targeted by an attack from the people of Serekaniye and its settlers, as on December 8, 2024-the day of the fall of the Ba'ath regime-similar action had occurred against the prisons of Turkish occupation mercenaries in the city with the opening of all the basements, cells, and freeing of their inmates throughout various regions in Syria.

At that time, sources confirmed that a number of detainees and kidnapped people were released from the prisons of the "Military Police" mercenaries under popular pressure.

The occupied city of Serekaniye, like any city that has fallen under the occupation of Turkey and its mercenaries in northern Syria, is witnessing a state of chaos and security chaos, with atrocities of killing, robbery and daily attacks against citizens widespread.
