The shelling primarily targeted the Cantons of Manbij and Afrin-Shahba.

On Monday night and into Tuesday, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries bombarded the villages of Sayada, Um Jalloud, Al-Darj, and Al-Jat in Manbij Canton with heavy weaponry.

Yesterday, the Turkish occupation army shelled several villages in Manbij Canton and the countryside of Al-Bab city, including Boughez, Kawikli, Sayada, Dandaniya, Um Adsa, Al-Farat, Arab Hassan, Al-Tokhar, Al-Buwaihij, Al-Darj, Al-Jat, Um Jalloud, Jamousiya, Tal Turin, and Jableh Al-Hamra.

In Afrin-Shahba Canton, the bombardment targeted the villages of Halisa and Alusha, as well as the vicinity of Fafin town and the city of Tal Rifaat and its surroundings.

On Monday night, the Turkish occupation’s mercenaries launched an attack using two drones on the village of Mara’naz in the Shara district.

Additionally, the Turkish occupation army shelled the villages of Aqiba and Beneh and the forests surrounding Soghanake village in Sherawa with artillery.

The intense shelling caused instability among the residents, forcing them to leave their homes and seek refuge in nearby orchards and fields until dawn.

In Afrin-Shahba Canton, the artillery shelling on the village of Halisa resulted in the martyrdom of a civilian, Mohammad Arif Haj Mahmoud (40 years old), and injuries to children Hussein Mohammad Hassan Khalaf (9 years old), Murad Mohammad Haj Mahmoud (14 years old), and Roseel Mohammad Khalaf (13 years old).

The condition of Roseel remains critical, with her health unstable due to severe injuries.

The NE Syria region experiences almost daily attacks by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, ranging from air and ground bombardments to infiltration attempts. These are accompanied by periodic drone and warplane assaults targeting the region’s infrastructure.

In response, local military forces in the area exercise their right to legitimate defense, repelling the mercenaries’ infiltration attempts.
