Turkish occupation attacks on Tishrin Dam foiled and 2 armored vehicles, 10 military vehicles destroyed

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces confirmed in a statement that the forces thwarted the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries’ attacks on Tishrin Dam, causing deaths and injuries among them.

The statement read:

"Our forces inflicted heavy losses on the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries on several fronts, killing a number of their mercenaries and destroying armored military vehicles, in addition to radar sites and targeting their points and gatherings, despite the support and backing of the Turkish occupation’s drones, and the involvement of military armored vehicles and heavy artillery in the bombardment.

On Sunday evening and into Monday morning, Turkish occupation drones flew intensively over the countryside of Tishrin Dam, in conjunction with heavy artillery and Grad missile bombardment.

At 1:00 PM on Monday, the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries launched an attack on the villages of "Aloush" and "Tal Arish." Our forces confronted them and managed to destroy an armored personnel carrier. A gathering of mercenaries was also targeted by the Martyr Haroun units. The clashes lasted two hours, resulting in the confirmed deaths of two mercenaries, while the rest fled the battlefield. After repelling the mercenaries' attack, their gatherings were targeted by our forces with heavy weapons, but the number of casualties and the extent of the damage could not be determined.

Additionally, the Martyr Haroun units targeted an enemy military vehicle attempting to advance toward our fighters’ positions, destroying it. We will publish footage of the strike later. Meanwhile, a mine exploded in a mercenary vehicle, but the number of dead and injured remains unknown.

During the battles between our forces and the mercenaries on "Syriatel" hill, two armored vehicles were targeted and damaged by our forces, along with the destruction of a personnel carrier, resulting in the deaths of several mercenaries. The bodies of the mercenaries killed remain scattered across the area.

The Martyr Haroun units also carried out 27 additional strikes on Turkish occupation and mercenary positions, targeting vehicles and fortifications. These strikes resulted in the destruction of a radar center, an armored vehicle, 5 cars, and 21 targeted gatherings and mercenary positions, causing numerous deaths and injuries."
