Local sources reported that members of the Turkish Gendarmerie severely beat and tortured about 35 people, including women, near the village of Al-Hamam, west of Janders, in the occupied Afrin countryside, as they tried to flee the areas they occupied.

The sources explained that the Gendarmerie imprisoned the victims for its mercenaries, the “military police,” after assaulting them.

The sources indicated that some of the attacked citizens suffered various fractures in their bodies, indicating that 2 of them were transferred to a hospital in Afrin.
