During the month of August, Turkish occupation authorities forcibly deported 2,100 Syrian refugees from its territory to the occupied city of Girê Spî.

A local source from the occupied city of Girê Spî reported that Turkish occupation authorities forcibly deported 2,100 Syrian refugees during the past month of August from its territory into the occupied city of Girê Spî, through the Girê Spî border gate, handing them over to their mercenaries from the military police.

With the arrival of this number to the city of Girê Spî, the total number of forcibly deported people documented by ANHA agency since the Turkish occupation authorities announced at the beginning of April 2022 that they would deport one million Syrian refugees from Turkey to Syria, has reached 38,500, including 72 Iraqis.

ANHA agency also documented on the 24th of last August that Turkish occupation authorities handed over a child, no more than 12 years old, to their mercenaries from the military police, at the border gate of the occupied city of Girê Spî.
