Tribes of NE Syria vow to protect Tishrin Dam

The tribes of North and East Syria have reaffirmed their commitment to defending their achievements and supporting the resistance at the Tishrin Dam during their ongoing popular activities.

The Notable Ayed Al-Hadi from the Al-Afadlah tribe, reiterated the tribes’ dedication to protecting their possessions and confronting all challenges facing them.

Gathered at the dam, local participants continued the evening activities, where Sheikh Al-Hadi delivered a speech on behalf of the tribes of the North and East Syria region. He stated:

"In light of the current circumstances in our region, and stemming from our commitment to our national values and principles, we, the tribes of North and East Syria, reaffirm our steadfast support for the resistance at Tishrin Dam, which we consider a symbol of dignity and the people’s will for self-determination."

Al-Hadi praised the Autonomous Administration, describing it as a progressive democratic model that opens the door for partnership among all components of society. He added:

"The Autonomous Administration has proven itself as a model to be followed throughout all of Syria, through its tireless efforts to establish security and stability, and its ongoing work to fulfill the aspirations of the region’s people in building a cohesive and strong society."

He also expressed deep appreciation for the sacrifices of the martyrs, saying:

"We extend our highest gratitude and appreciation to the souls of the martyrs who gave their lives defending the dignity and freedom of our people. Their sacrifices are not just memories, but guiding lights that illuminate our path toward the future."

Sheikh Al-Hadi concluded his speech by emphasizing the continuation of the resistance: "We, the tribes of North and East Syria, pledge to ourselves and our people to continue our path toward achieving justice and freedom. We will remain committed to our gains and united in facing challenges, in order to build a bright future worthy of everyone."
