In Qamishlo, Notable of Al-Zubayd in the Jazira Canton refuted a statement circulating on social media under the name “Tribal Rally,” firmly rejecting such claims. He stressed the tribe’s unwavering support for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in confronting those who seek to sow discord among the nation’s people to serve narrow agendas.

“We will not allow these schemes to succeed and will remain a strong barrier against anyone threatening our region’s stability,” he declared. Al-Hadir praised the Democratic Autonomous Administration for protecting the region’s diverse components—Arabs, Kurds, Syriacs, and Assyrians—under the “Brotherhood of Peoples” project, standing united against challenges.

“Our shared vision is to build a democratic society based on justice and equality, and we have thwarted many plots targeting our unity,” he added.

He highlighted that the Autonomous Administration is the only project in Syria that has not marginalized any group, instead providing all communities opportunities to participate actively in political, cultural, social, and military spheres.

“From local communes to the highest institutions, all components engage with their identity and culture, establishing security and stability in northeast Syria, one of the safest regions in the country today,” he noted.

Al-Hadir commended the SDF’s heroic role in protecting the region and the world from the threat of ISIS mercenaries. Despite years of war, repeated Turkish attacks on infrastructure, and the closure of trade crossings, the Autonomous Administration has provided essential services, with security and stability being its most significant achievements, absent in most other Syrian regions.

Regarding women’s roles, Al-Hadir noted that women, previously marginalized, now constitute half of the Autonomous Administration’s leadership in northeast Syria, participating actively and effectively. “The Democratic Nation project is the only one that has believed in women’s roles, encouraged them, protected their rights, and pushed them toward leadership in society,” he said.

He warned against entities seeking to destabilize Syria, particularly NE  Syria, by inciting discord and spreading hate speech, exploiting tribes as fuel for these conflicts. “We are vigilant against these attempts, having faced them over the past 14 years of crisis, and we will confront them again with our unity, fully aware of their malicious goals,” he asserted.

Al-Hadir dismissed accusations labeling the SDF as a separatist force representing only one group, calling them baseless. “The SDF includes all components in its military and leadership structures, with Arabs making up about 70% of its ranks. We believe it is the only force that has preserved Syria’s unity, both its land and people, and is the true guarantor of leading the country to safety,” he said.

In conclusion, Al-Hadir stressed that sectarian conflicts and wars only serve those aiming to divide Syria. He emphasized that solutions lie in dialogue, reason, and wisdom. “The Autonomous Administration and the SDF are among the strongest advocates for peaceful solutions, understanding that dialogue is the foundation for sustainable resolutions that meet the aspirations of all Syrian components,” he said.

He reiterated that authoritarian governments are fleeting, but social bonds among the region’s diverse communities are eternal. “We must preserve and develop these bonds, support our administration and democratic project, stand by our forces that have protected our existence, and avoid falling into the trap of discord and hate speech being promoted,” he concluded.
