Leader Abdullah Ocalan has been subjected to strict isolation in Imrali imposed by the Turkish authorities for 25 years. This isolation has been tightened for more than 3 years, and his lawyers and family have been prevented from meeting with him despite their submitting two requests every week.

Zainab Nasser from the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood said: “For more than 25 years, the leader has been detained, and for 3 years there has been no news of him. We want him among us, and we will continue events and activities in order to achieve his physical freedom.”

She stressed: "We will not stop demanding his physical freedom, and we will not rest until we hear news about him."

Zainab pointed out by saying: “The leader fought for our freedom and sacrificed his life and was eventually arrested. In turn, we, his people, will raise the pace of the struggle to be worthy of his sacrifices.”

In his turn, Abdul Rahman Hussein considered the leader’s stay in detention until now a violation of laws and rights. He said: “We want our leader to be released. No one has the right to keep him in detention, and no one has the right to refuse the requests of his lawyer and family to meet him.”

Hussein pledged: “By fighting until the last breath and following the leader’s thought and philosophy, to achieve his physical freedom, and with our resistance and cohesion, from all components, we will achieve this.”

For his part, Muhammad Arif said: “We, the people who are organized according to the thought and philosophy of the leader, will not abandon the issue of achieving his physical freedom, and we will not back down from our struggle to achieve this, as he is the one who spread harmony and love among us, and we in turn must use these gains against the occupier so that we can achieve his freedom, and victory will always be our ally."
