The residents of the cities of Qamishlo, Amuda, Tirbespiyê, and Tal Hamis took part in the march, which was organized by the People's Initiative in Qamishlo, calling for the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Alongside the residents, students, youth, women, and representatives of the Autonomous Administration from all components, Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, Armenians, and Yazidis, also participated in the march, carrying their flags.

The march began from the Osman Sabri Roundabout, with slogans such as “With our soul, with our blood, we are with you Leader Ocalan,” “No life without the Leader,” “Long live the resistance of Imrali,” and “Long live the prison resistance,” while holding up pictures of the Leader.

Among the participants were children and students holding pictures of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and flashing the victory sign.

The march continued to the Martyr Robar Roundabout, where the crowd observed a moment of silence in honor of the martyrs. Afterwards, Kanan Barakat, a member of the People's Initiative in Jazira Canton, delivered a speech, stating that Leader Abdullah Ocalan is the leader of all communities.

He pointed out that the conspiratorial forces attempted to break the will of the people through their plot, unaware that in every Kurdish home, there is someone who follows the leader’s path, and that Leader Ocalan has turned Imrali into a school for our existence.

Kanan Barakat mentioned that the Leader has called for peace many times and is ready for peace. He continued, “The Turkish state must know that Leader Abdullah Ocalan has fulfilled his responsibility, and now the role is theirs. The people wish to see the Leader walking freely in Kurdistan, only then will they know that peace has been achieved.”

Barakat stressed that the Turkish state cannot deceive the people and that victory will be theirs no matter what. He concluded his speech by saying, “Our first duty is to struggle for the Leader.”

The march ended with chants of “Long live the resistance of Imrali.”
