"There is no peace on the ground"
A lawyer and administrator in the Democratic Union Party's (PYD) training committee pointed out that the Turkish state talks about peace, but there is no peace on the ground.

Lawyer Ismat Ibrahim, a member of the Euphrates Canton Lawyers Union, and Ismail Muhammad, an administrator in the Euphrates Canton Training Committee of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), spoke to ANHA's agency about the call for peace and a democratic society issued by Leader Abdullah Ocalan and how the Turkish authorities are dealing with it.
Ismat Ibrahim pointed out that many opinions have emerged in Turkey regarding a solution to the Kurdish issue. He continued, saying, "There is communication between Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the Turkish government. The Turkish state itself talks about peace, but there is no peace on the ground. In other words, we can say that it is just talk, not implementation, and the examples of this are clear."
Ismet Ibrahim considered that the Turkish state is only trying to buy time to remain in power, adding: "The Turkish state is only seeking time to do what it wants and what is in line with its interests. As we know, Leader Abdullah Ocalan led the peace and solution initiative, and peace and a solution cannot be achieved without Leader Abdullah Ocalan."
"The Kurdish issue is the most valuable issue."
Ismet Ibrahim explained that the Turkish state wants to eliminate the Kurdish issue and restore the Ottoman system once again. He said: "The Turkish state always seeks to violate the rights of peoples, eliminate the Kurdish issue, and revive the Ottoman system. But we can tell them that the Kurdish issue is the issue of all humanity. This people saw themselves in the leader's ideas and were trained in them, and the Kurdish issue will always remain a Kurdish issue."
Ismat Ibrahim stated that the time for peace has come, and the Turkish state must work to achieve it. He concluded by saying, "The Turkish state must now take steps toward peace. The Kurdish issue is a just cause, as the Kurds live on their historical land. When the Turkish state wants to buy time, the matter will end, and the Kurdish people and other groups will achieve peace. Peace will be achieved throughout the world with the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and Kurdistan will be present on the map of the Middle East."
"If this issue succeeds, Turkish power will no longer be meaningful."
Ismail Mohammad, an administrator in the Democratic Union Party's Training Committee in the Euphrates Canton, pointed out that Leader Abdullah Ocalan's thought and philosophy destroyed the authoritarian regime. He said, "The Turkish state is seeking, in every way, to orchestrate conspiracies and tricks through the issue of rights and dialogue, because the only ones who possess projects and organizations within Turkey are the Kurdish people. The Kurdish project is not just for the Kurdish people, but for everyone living there. If the Kurdish people's project succeeds, Turkish power will no longer be meaningful. Therefore, the Turkish state seeks to manipulate and deceive."
Ismail Mohammed pointed out that a people who have organized themselves and are trained in the thought and philosophy of Leader Abdullah Ocalan will never be deceived. He stated that the Turkish state is always afraid of the strength of the Kurdish people's cause, and therefore constantly seeks to violate their rights. However, the Kurdish people have drawn their strength from the leader's thought, and no one can annihilate them. On the contrary, their strength is growing, as evidenced by the Battle of Kobani in 2014.
He emphasized the impossibility of trusting the Turkish state, explaining that the people's complete trust in him requires, at a minimum, the release of Leader Abdullah Ocalan. He said, "The Turkish state is engaging in dialogues through which it seeks to prolong its existence through deception, but we will never trust the Turkish state, neither in dialogues nor in its speeches. We will not trust the Turkish state until Leader Abdullah Ocalan is physically free."
Ismail Mohammed concluded his remarks by saying, "We must continue to spread the leader's thought and philosophy and intensify our struggle so that we can pressure the Turkish state to achieve the leader's physical freedom and achieve peace throughout the world."
