The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Transitional Government condemned the Israeli attack on the town of Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside.

It stated that the attack led to clashes after residents resisted, resulting in the deaths of more than 10 civilians, including women and children.

The Ministry described the bombing as "brutal and dangerous," holding Israel responsible for the escalation, and warning that the continuation of these attacks threatens the security and stability of the region.

It called on the United Nations and the Arab League to assume their responsibilities in halting the targeting of Syrian territory.

13 people were killed and 20 others were wounded, including women and children, in clashes and Israeli shelling of the town of Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside.
