Syrian opponent: As Arab citizen, I am committed to explain Ocalan ideology to Arab people

The Syrian opponent figure, Firas Qassass has confirmed that the imposition of stifling sanctions on Leader Abdullah Ocalan violates all the standers of human rights, but all these brutal practices failed in achieving its goals to prevent dissemination of Ocalan ideology, which reached various countries and its people, saying," as an Arab citizen, I am committed to explaining Ocalan ideology."

The Syrian opponent member and head of the Modernity and Democracy Party of Syria, Firas Qassas, explained during an interview with ANHA's agency:" the arrest of leader Ocalan in Imrali prison cannot be considered anything other than a purely political and disgraceful arrest, carried out against one of the most important advocates of freedom in the modern era, and therefore every organization or rule enactments related to the organizational aspect of this detention can only be coercive patterns that come to complement the determinants and conditions of detention and make them in the worst possible form. In this sense, the tightening of these controls related to the freedom fighter Ocalan in Imrali comes to increase their repressive load, and does not contribute to further restrictions and violations that are practiced in a systematic manner. Organized against him and against what he represents and embodies.”

Firas Kassas added: “I do not see that the Turkish government has any goals related to the recent restrictions except those that reflect the immorality of fascism and contempt for the simplest rules and culture of human rights while dealing with everything related to Ocalan ideology, but I insinuate with this immorality its sense of prolonged impotence and comprehensive failure that surrounds it and surrounds it with its policies in front of a stature the size of Ocalan.”

The repercussions will fall on Turkish extremists

Regarding the results of the policies followed by the Turkish authorities, Qassas explained: “It is impossible for further isolation of the fighter Ocalan to achieve any result that benefits their tyranny and serves their fascism. It is also impossible to limit the influence of the Ocalan philosophy and its political and societal construction, which has become a reality in many areas in Syria, Turkey and Iraq, and has reached millions of people, Kurds, Arabs, and Syriac Assyrians, carry this thought wherever they are.”

Qassas explained: “One of the goals behind this has to do with waging a war to break the will of the fighter Ocalan and impose personal restrictions on him, and this is also what has proven its emptiness and the disappointment of those who bet on it. As for the objective perspective, it indicates that the anger of millions of believers in Ocalan’s thought and philosophy has reached those who consider him an inspiration and an icon to the people, and these people are doing and will do what exposes the Turkish fascist policies in this regard and exposes and shames them. All the repercussions, from my point of view, will bring loss and disappointment to their extremist Turkish owners.

Regarding what is required of Arab circles, Firas Qassas affirmed: “Let me speak for myself as an Arab. I find it necessary for me to explain Ocalan ideology to the Arab street, shed light on it, and convey to them its image as it is, not as its opponents and enemies distort it, and I expect that my position will spread among many Arabs and the attempt to defend what it means and what it contains so that it expands the ground for Ocalan ideology to be accepted, adopted and defended by the Arab component, is only a matter of time. However, it is necessary to resort to new mechanisms to be followed to force the Arabs and other components in the region to take the appropriate position and respond necessary to what it proposes by Ocalan ideology from exceptional and creative bets on the future of society and the state in the Middle East."
