Syrian Initiative calls for redoubling efforts to achieve leader physical freedom

Syrian Initiative issued a written statement over the decision of the Turkish authorities to impose another three-month disciplinary punishment.

The statement read, “The Turkish state renews its hatred and fascism against the Kurds.” It continues to practice its inhumane policies against them, and to take revenge on them in the person of leader Ocalan by imposing 3 -month disciplinary penalties."

The Turkish state begins to renew these continuous and successive disciplinary punishments by continuing to impose complete isolation on leader, as the policy of absolute deprivation that it began implementing since (March 25, 2021). In an effort to deprive him of the right to freedom, which is stipulated in all international laws and despite the specificity of Imrali prison, which falls under the umbrella of a system of extermination against human existence and human dignity.

The Turkish state continues to ignore the demands, appeals and calls of free people, democrats and writers in their global campaign launched in all parts of the world, to end the isolation.

Through its inhumane and immoral violations against the leader, philosopher and thinker Ocalan, the Turkish state seeks to destroy the will of the Kurds by destroying his will.Therefore, we call on the Kurdistan people and all free people and patriots in Turkey and in the entire world to show a negative reaction against the arbitrary policies and aggressive plans in order to achieve their goal of ending leader isolation."

Believing in the importance of the role of global and international human rights organizations and bodies, we demand that this role be activated, and that Turkey be obligated to lift the policy of dispossession, end the absolute isolation imposed on Leader Ocalan, and achieve his physical freedom. We also demand that an effective and significant committee be sent to Imrali prison to show the reasons of doubt and mistrust.

We are all confident that the people who followed leader philosophy will break the bars of Imrali and achieve the leader’s physical freedom.
