SOHR: Ongoing Turkish crimes against People of occupied Afrin

Turkish affiated mercenaries continue their criminal and arbitrary practices in occupied Afrin.

According to the SOHR, a resident of the village of Sinara in the city of Shih was subjected to a violent attack by mercenaries of the “Sultan Suleiman Shah/Al-Amshat” brigade led by the so-called “Muhammad Al-Jassem/Abu Amsha”. The attack came due to the victim’s inability to pay “olive royalties”, which are sums of money forcibly imposed on the people.

In the town of Bulbul, a citizen was kidnapped from his home by mercenaries of the so-called “Sultan Murad” brigade.

He was only released after paying a ransom, reflecting the stifling economic conditions.

In the city of Jandaris, a patrol belonging to the mercenaries of the so-called military police kidnapped two citizens from their homes.
