Sheikhani emphasizes necessity of resisting Turkey, its affiliated mercenaries

 Amid relentless attacks on the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, Sheikh Fahd Sheikhani, the representative of the Al-Sheikhan tribe and the General Coordination of the Association of the Ahlul-Bayt, warned of the occupation's ongoing attempts to sow discord in the region.

 Sheikhani pointed to Turkey’s daily attacks on the region, saying: “At present, we hear constant threats from Erdogan and his mercenaries. These threats are part of a systematic media war carried out by suspicious and externally driven channels and websites aimed at destabilizing our region.”

 Despite the threats, Sheikhani reaffirmed the strength and resilience of the people in North and East Syria, stating: “By the grace of God, we are strong. We govern vast areas of Syrian land, possess a well-trained and qualified military force, and enjoy unprecedented global political support. The world stands with us.”

 Sheikhani stressed that the region would continue to resist under all circumstances and would never surrender.

 He declared, “Even if the only weapon I have left is the stick in my hand, I will fight with it. We will not retreat from our principles or the blood of our martyrs, which has illuminated the path of our struggle.”

 He highlighted the steadfast resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the unity among all components of the Syrian population as the definitive response to Turkey’s attempts to divide the region and incite discord among its diverse components.
