Several people wounded, trapped under rubble due to Saraya collapsed building in Damascus

The roof of one of the floors of the Saraya building in Marjeh Square in Damascus collapsed, resulting in a number of injuries. In addition, local efforts are underway to rescue those trapped and transport the injured.

DAMASCUS

Marjeh Square in Damascus witnessed a sudden collapse of the roof of one of the floors of the Saraya building, leaving a number of injuries and several people trapped under the rubble.

Rescue and transport operations are currently underway for the injured, and efforts to extract those trapped from the site as quickly as possible are carried out.

So far, no clear information has been released regarding the cause of the incident or the final number of victims.
