Series of meetings expected for North Kurdistan delegation
Members of the North Kurdistan delegation, who arrived in northeastern Syria yesterday, stated that they will hold a series of meetings within the framework of Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s"Call for Peace and Democratic Society," and will also attend the Kurdish conference

Saliha Aydeniz recalled the journalists Cihan Bilkin and Nazim Dashtan, who were martyred on December 19th on the road between Tishreen Dam and the city of Sarrin in an airstrike by the Turkish occupation. She emphasized that "both journalists were targeted because they were working to convey the truth."
"We came as part of a series of visits related to Leader Abdullah Öcalan's call and to attend the conference."
Saliha Aydeniz referred to Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s message of "peace and a democratic society" to resolve the Kurdish issue, and that they in the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) have begun a series of visits and meetings throughout Kurdistan and the world to understand this call.
Saliha Aydeniz said they have held three meetings in Southern Kurdistan so far and have now crossed into Rojava for the same purpose. She added that their program includes a visit to Rojava, which coincides with the Kurdish conference, so they will attend the conference and hold their meetings together.
They will visit a number of places.
Saliha Aydeniz explained that they will visit the headquarters of political parties, the Autonomous Administration, civil society organizations, media outlets, women's organizations, youth, intellectuals, writers, and academics. She pointed to the revolution that took place in Rojava through the struggle of the people, and they want to learn about the changes that have occurred in the region as a result of this revolution and share them with everyone.
"We hope to make more visits to Rojava.
Saliha Aydeniz expressed their desire to visit the region in the future to advance the peace process. She said, "We need to come, and we would like the representatives of the North and East Syria Administration to also visit northern Kurdistan and Turkey."
The Unity Conference will achieve the main step of the call."
Saliha Aydeniz highlighted the unity of the Kurdish position and ranks in Rojava, saying, "This conference is absolutely essential for Kurdish unity. Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s call stated that the Kurdish people must unite first, and this conference will be the first step in implementing this call. The Unity Conference will serve as an example for the rest of Kurdistan, and we will implement it in Northern Kurdistan as well."
"The First Step Towards Holding the Kurdistan National Conference"
Saliha Aydeniz emphasized that holding the conference at this particular time is an important and historic step. The Rojava Revolution has made the Kurds a major player in the Middle East, and this revolution and its achievements must be protected. She concluded by saying, "Holding the Unity Conference in Rojava is the first step towards building a comprehensive national conference in Kurdistan."
