The city of Serêkaniye, occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries since late 2019, witnessed violent clashes between Turkish-backed mercenaries "Hamzat" and "Sultan Murad."

The clashes erupted late Sunday night, sparked by a dispute over stolen property and authority in the Nafus neighborhood.

According to local sources in the city, both sides used machine guns and shells, causing panic among residents, especially since the clashes occurred in residential areas.

Accurate information about the damage caused by the clashes was not available, amid a state of security tension that prevailed in the city until this morning.

Incidents of fighting between mercenaries and violations against civilians are recurring in areas occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries in Syria, exacerbating the suffering of the population and threatening the stability of the region.
