Security Measures in NE Syria for Eid al-Fitr 

In a statement issued today, the General Command of the Internal Security Forces of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria conveyed their warmest congratulations to the people on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, wishing for the return of this blessed holiday with goodness, prosperity, and blessings. They further emphasized their responsibility for maintaining security and protecting citizens, announcing the following precautionary and organizational measures during the holiday:

1. Restriction on Truck and Tanker Movement: The entry of large and medium-sized trucks and tankers into cities and towns will be prohibited from 6:00 PM on Saturday, March 29, 2025, until 12:00 AM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

2. Border Crossings: The movement of commercial trucks and vehicles across the border crossings will be prohibited from 6:00 PM on Saturday, March 29, 2025, until 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Civilian passenger movement will remain unaffected.

3. Motorcycle Movement Ban: The use of both civilian and military motorcycles will be prohibited from 6:00 PM on Thursday, March 27, 2025, until 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

4. Ban on Firearm Use: The use of firearms or any form of gunfire is strictly prohibited under any circumstances, and legal penalties will be enforced on violators.
