The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, affirmed the commitment to maintaining the current ceasefire and achieving genuine integration.

Abdi announced, in a post on the “X” platform, that he held a constructive and productive meeting with U.S. Ambassador Tom Barrack and Admiral Brad Cooper, Commander of the U.S. Central Command, in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Abdi stated that U.S. support and the policy of U.S. President Donald Trump toward ceasefire efforts, along with the initiatives led by Ambassador Barrack to revive dialogue and negotiations between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Interim Government, represent serious and important steps that are welcomed.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces reaffirmed his commitment to working with all available means and with full seriousness to achieve real integration and to preserve the current ceasefire.
