SDF foiled ISIS-affiliated cell's attack

An ISIS-affiliated cell launched an attack on one of the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF positions in Deir ez-Zor, and the forces confronted the attack and were able to thwart it

The Syrian Democratic Forces thwarted an attack by an ISIS mercenary cell on the Deir ez-Zor Eastern countryside's Dhiban Brigade. According to a statement by the Syrian Democratic Forces, the attack was repelled by the forces.

The forces highlighted: 'The terrorist cell fired an RPG shell at the brigade’s headquarters and engaged in a firefight with our fighters, prompting a strong response from our forces. Under the pressure of our fighters' successive strikes and their resistance, the terrorist cell was forced to flee.'

The Syrian Democratic Forces confirmed that they will continue their mission of pursuing ISIS mercenaries and stated: 'Our forces reaffirm that they will remain vigilant for the security and safety of the region's residents, and will continue their efforts to hunt down the terrorist organization's cells and maintain stability in the area .
