Today, the SDF Media Center issued a statement to the public regarding the clashes that occurred on Thursday at Tishrin Dam. The statement read:

"A number of Turkish occupation mercenaries were killed and others were injured, in addition to the destruction of several of their military vehicles and the seizure of quantities of weapons, ammunition, and vehicles belonging to them, during fierce clashes that broke out yesterday, Thursday, between our fighters and the mercenaries on the northern front of Tishrin Dam.

At 4:00 a.m. yesterday, intense clashes erupted against the mercenaries, lasting for some time. These clashes resulted in several casualties among their ranks, after which all their members fled the battlefield, leaving behind their weapons and a military vehicle, which our fighters seized. The mercenaries attempted to return to their military position but faced fierce resistance from our fighters, leading to further casualties in their ranks. For a third time, they launched an attack after receiving reinforcements, but they fled once again in the face of our fighters’ relentless strikes, forcing them to target their own military position before retreating completely from the area. A confirmed total of 7 mercenaries were killed, with more wounded.

Additionally, our fighters targeted a mercenary position north of Tishrin Dam, inflicting further losses, though the exact numbers remain unknown. Observing movement within their military post, our forces launched a second strike, sparking renewed clashes in which an unspecified number of mercenaries were killed and injured. Our forces also successfully downed an explosive drone.

In response to these attacks, the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) carried out a precise and well-coordinated operation against a mercenary position north of Tishrin Dam, killing two mercenaries and injuring several others. Our forces also seized various weapons and ammunition.

The total losses inflicted on the mercenaries in the Tishrin Dam front are as follows:

1. Destruction of two military vehicles.

2. Seizure of several light and heavy weapons, including: 5 "BKC" machine guns, 1 RPG-7 launcher, 1 tactical vest, 1 Kalashnikov rifle, 1 "Brno" sniper rifle, 1 military scope, and additional military equipment.

3. Casualties: 9 mercenaries killed and 20 others injured.

Turkish drones remained active in the area throughout the day, while heavy artillery shelling continued around the dam.

The Turkish occupation also resumed indiscriminate shelling of villages near the Qereqozaqê Bridge using heavy artillery, rocket launchers, and tanks. Around 50 shells targeted the villages of Al-Tina, Jadda, Bir Hasso, Deikan, and Malha, as well as the Sifi and Qereqozaqê hills south of Kobani. The bombardment caused significant material damage to civilians’ homes, farms, and properties.
