The Co-Chair of the Relations Office of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) held a series of dialogue meetings with several prominent German research institutions.

According to the official website of the Syrian Democratic Council, Hassan Mohammed Ali, Co-Chair of the SDC Relations Office, conducted a number of discussions with leading German research and policy institutions.

The meetings included a dialogue with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung institution, affiliated with the Social Democratic Party, focusing on the vital role of civil society in all its diversity and its active participation in the political process.

The discussion with the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung institution, affiliated with the Green Party, addressed the importance of strengthening women’s role and ensuring their active participation in civil and political life.

Meanwhile, the meeting with the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung institution, affiliated with the Left Party, explored the topic of transitional justice and the significance of the current transitional phase Syria is undergoing, emphasizing the need to involve civil society in political decision-making and in shaping the country’s future.

According to the SDC website, these meetings reflect the Council’s commitment to promoting dialogue and international cooperation, as well as enhancing civil society’s participation in the political process to ensure a democratic and stable future for Syria.
