SDC discusses political developments in Syrian arena

Under the slogan "Political developments on the Syrian scene," the Syrian Democratic Council organized a forumin the Deir ez-Zor Civil Council hall in the Seven Kilo area, in the presence of a large number of intellectuals, political activists, tribal notables, and representatives of the Democratic Civil Administration in Deir ez-Zor canton.

The forum began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then the Deputy President Body of the Syrian Democratic Council, Ghassan al-Youssef, welcomed the audience and said: “We, the Syrian Democratic Council, are keen to cooperate with all the Syrian people of all sects, and our hand is extended to everyone in order to reach a Syrian political solution that satisfies everyone, achieves justice, equality, and resolves the country's crisis."

While member of the Relations Office of the Syrian Democratic Council, Hassan Muhammad Ali, touched on the political situation, he said: “There are many countries in the region that have worked to change the map of the Middle East and have changed all the regimes, so we must evaluate the situation, analyze it, and work on it, otherwise we will face many difficulties.”

He noted: "In Deir ez-Zor, there is a power that is trying to destabilize it and is trying to create strife and confusion in it. Its people must be careful and stand side by side in the face of these foreign interference and conspiracies that seek to achieve and harm the region."

Then he opened the way for discussion for the attendees to present their opinions and come up with a set of recommendations and proposals to deal with the current challenges, the most important of which is emphasizing the importance of dialogue and cooperation between various actors in the region and presenting solutions and proposals to overcome obstacles and improve the situation in the region.
