SDC congratulates Syrian people on occasion of Christmas

Through a statement published by the Syrian Democratic Council on its official platforms, it congratulated the Syrian people on the occasion of Christmas and highlighted its aspirations for the future of Syria, which included:

Congratulations on the occasion of the glorious Christmas.

The Syrian Democratic Council extends its sincerest congratulations and best wishes to our great Syrian people, with all their components and beliefs, on the occasion of the blessed Christmas, a holiday that this year comes amidst pivotal historical transformations our country is witnessing.

The rapid events that our country has recently witnessed confirm that the will of the people cannot be defeated in their pursuit of freedom and dignity. And as we recall the immense sacrifices of our people over the past years, we affirm that the new Syria we aspire to will be a homeland for all, where diversity is preserved, pluralism is respected, and the rights of all components are safeguarded.

We believe that building a new Syria requires unifying efforts and working with a spirit of national responsibility, to establish the values of justice, democracy, and participation, and to formulate a new social contract that meets the aspirations of the Syrian people and establishes a state that belongs to all its citizens.

On this blessed occasion, we look forward to this holiday marking the beginning of a new era that brings with it the tidings of peace and stability, and strengthens the unity of the Syrians and their shared will to build a homeland worthy of their sacrifices and hopes.

"Every year, may Syria and its people be in a thousand good ways."
