The Syrian Democratic Council (SDC), in partnership with the Future Syria Party (FSP), held a large meeting in the city of Tel Brak in Jazira region. The meeting, held in front of the Future Syria Party office in the city center, was attended by tribal sheikhs and dignitaries, representatives of political parties and civil society organizations, as well as SDC representatives and dozens of residents.

The meeting began with holding a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs. This was followed by a speech delivered by Dr. Hussein Azzam, the co-chair of the SDC's Relations Office in Jazira region, who addressed the latest developments on the local scene. He emphasized the importance of unity, rejecting hate speech, and working with a spirit of shared responsibility to maintain civil peace and social stability. Azzam also stressed the need to strengthen the role of reason and dialogue in addressing current issues.

In another speech, Dr. Mahmoud al-Muslet, the co-chair of the SDC, affirmed that the unity of Syrians and the preservation of Syrian lives are of paramount importance. He emphasized that "the shedding of Syrian blood by Syrians is forbidden," and that the people of Syria are capable of managing their own affairs if genuine national leadership is in place.

Al-Muslet explained that Syria's well-being stems from the well-being of all its components, and that Syrians "complement one another," warning against the role of social media in deepening the rift between these components. He stated that overcoming these divisions can only be achieved through wisdom and reason. He also indicated that "the March 10th agreement will be a truly national path that serves the country's interests."

Al-Muslet expressed his respect for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), emphasizing that their goal is to build a unified homeland and prevent "rogue states" from interfering in Syrian affairs, both large and small. He also thanked the Arab and Kurdish tribes for their patriotic role and unity.

Al-Muslet concluded his remarks by affirming that "there can be no army protecting its land unless it is composed of the people of that land," calling for strengthening national partnership to protect Syria and build its future.

After that, the floor was opened for discussion, during which the attendees stressed that the current phase requires concerted efforts and integrated roles among all components of society to ensure the protection of the social fabric and the building of a future based on partnership and understanding.

The meeting concluded with calling for continued holding of consultative meetings and the translation of all outcomes into practical steps that serve the public interest and reinforce societal unity.
