The Damascus-backed “25th Special Tasks Division”, led by “Suhail Al-Hasan”, with the participation of Russian forces, conducted intensive joint military exercises, near Kuwaires Airport in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, which included training on parachuting and firing artillery shells and missiles at fake targets. It also included training on evacuation and first, aid amid the flight of Russian warplanes over the area.

On February 19, the 25th “Special Task” Forces Division, led by “Suhail Al-Hasan”, conducted military exercises in the open area near Al-Jaboul area in the south-eastern countryside of Aleppo, under the supervision of Russian forces.

These Russian moves raised many questions about their purpose, especially with regard to the possibility that this was within the framework of paving the way for a military operation against the areas of the Turkish occupation mercenaries in the countryside of Aleppo, Idlib and Hama.
