“Royalty” of $300,000 paid to a family in Afrin in exchange for restoring their land
Turkish mercenaries imposed a "royalty" of $300,000 on a family in Afrin, in exchange for regaining their agricultural land that they had controlled since the 2018 occupation of Afrin.

Sources close to the Agha family in Afrin, which has been occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries since 2018, reported to our agency that the “Sharqiya Army” mercenaries, affiliated with the Turkish occupation state, asked the family for a royalty of 300 thousand dollars, in exchange for ending their seizure of agricultural land owned by the citizen Jahid Agha, near the village of Rubaria, southwest of the occupied city of Afrin.
The sources indicated that the mercenaries of the "al-Sharqiya Army" have been seizing this land since 2018, and are prohibiting the family from entering it and benefiting from it.
The Syrian areas occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries witness various crimes daily, including killing, looting, and internal fighting between mercenaries.
