The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that a brawl broke out in the Neirab refugee camp in Aleppo over disputes related to motorcycles. The quarrel quickly escalated to the use of knives, leaving several people injured with varying degrees of severity, while tension and anxiety persist among the residents.

In the city of Atarib, in western Aleppo countryside, a young man was killed after a grenade he was tampering with exploded, an incident that highlights the dangers posed by the widespread availability of weapons and remnants of war in areas under the transitional government’s control.

In Damascus, the remains of five people, including children, were found inside a sewage network during maintenance work in the Qadam neighborhood, a shocking discovery that fueled fear and debate over the growing number of mysterious crimes.

According to the SOHR, additional unidentified remains were also discovered in eastern Homs countryside, near the Al-Dubiyat gas well.

These repeated incidents come at a time when the Syrian Observatory has documented the killing of more than 200 people since the beginning of 2025, as a result of random shootings and reckless explosions, including dozens of children and women, reflecting the fragility of the security situation and growing fears of worsening chaos and instability in these areas.
