Residents’ protests at Tishrin Dam continue for 21st day

The protests have now entered their 21st day, with a steadfast determination to continue until the Turkish occupation ceases its attacks.

Today, the residents of Euphrates Canton persist in their demonstrations at the dam, standing firm despite the ongoing shelling by the Turkish occupation on the dam and its surroundings. Their message remains clear: "Long live the resistance of the SDF," and "We are all SDF."

The protesters affirmed, "This dam is ours. The Turkish occupation’s warplanes and attacks will not intimidate us or weaken our resolve. We will continue our protest with high morale to protect and preserve it."

They also reiterated their support for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), who are defending and safeguarding the dam against attacks.

In addition to their protests, the demonstrators are carrying out various activities at Tishrin Dam, including protecting the dam and cleaning it from the remnants of Turkish occupation attacks. Their efforts go beyond mere protection, embodying their determination and resilience in the face of challenges.
