In response to the general mobilization announced by DAA of Jazira Canton, the residents of Tel Tamer declared their full participation in this call, in a collective popular stance reflecting the high level of awareness and national responsibility among the city’s inhabitants.

Since the declaration of the general mobilization, the city has witnessed a state of popular readiness and social solidarity, with residents from all components expressing their preparedness to defend their city and protect its stability.

In this context, citizen Khaled al-Khalaf stressed that responding to the general mobilization is a national and moral duty, especially in light of the dangerous escalation the region is witnessing. He emphasized that defending Tel Tamer is a defense of the dignity of all the peoples of Rojava.

He pointed out that Tel Tamer has long represented a model of coexistence among its components; Kurds, Arabs, and Syriac Assyrians and that targeting the city aims to undermine this model and sow discord among the people of the region.

Al-Khalaf concluded by saying: “We will not leave our city, no matter how much the threats escalate. We will confront the attacks with all the will and strength we possess, in defense of our land and our dignity.”

For her part, citizen Ayhan al-Younes expressed full support for the military and security forces protecting the city, affirming that the cohesion between the people and their military forces constitutes the fundamental pillar in confronting attacks, and that popular unity represents an impenetrable barrier against all attempts to destabilize security and stability.

She added: “We, women and mothers, stand today alongside our military forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces. We will not allow our displacement or the breaking of our will. We will remain and confront all attacks.”

Meanwhile, young man Arafa al-Dawi stated: “We responded to the general mobilization because defending Tel Tamer is a duty for every young person, woman, and man. This is my city, and we will not leave it under any circumstances. We will confront all attacks targeting our security and stability.”

He concluded by saying: “Today, we stand on the front lines to protect our city, emphasizing that unity between residents and the defending military forces constitutes the primary source of strength in confronting threats, and that unity of ranks is the true guarantee of steadfastness.
