Public reactions condemning and rejecting the attacks carried out by mercenaries of the Interim Government against the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid in the city of Aleppo continue, along with the crimes committed against residents and the abduction of hundreds whose fate remains unknown.

In this context, ANHA agency documented the views of a number of residents of Tel Tamer in al-Jazira Canton, who expressed pride in the resistance shown by the residents of Aleppo’s neighborhoods. They emphasized that what occurred was not an individual act or a temporary reaction, but rather the result of popular organization and social cohesion that formed a solid barrier against conspiracies.

Citizen Hifidar Mohammad Ali affirmed that unity of ranks and coordination among residents, alongside popular support for the Internal Security Forces and defending forces, played the most prominent role in thwarting the enemies’ plans, despite the intensity of shelling and intimidation attempts.

She stressed that the region is going through a pivotal phase that requires organizing ranks more than ever, and strengthening the spirit of solidarity and mutual support among all components of society to confront challenges and threats.

For his part, citizen Fadel Ali said: “The resistance demonstrated by the residents of Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid has reinforced the conviction that popular organization and unity of ranks are the only way to thwart attacks and protect the region from attempts at subjugation and intimidation.”

He added: “The popular resistance shown by the residents of Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid sent a clear message that civilians, through their will and organization, are capable of foiling targeting policies and breaking the state of fear, despite the intensity of the shelling and the magnitude of the danger.”

Meanwhile, citizen Khadija Ibrahim expressed her appreciation for the resistance shown by the Internal Security Forces in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid, confirming that popular support for these forces contributed to protecting civilians and reducing losses.

In conclusion, she called on the international community and human rights and humanitarian organizations to condemn the violations committed by mercenaries of the Interim Government backed by the Turkish occupation, and to work toward achieving justice and protection for the residents of Aleppo’s neighborhoods.

Residents of Tel Tamer emphasized that organizing the people’s ranks and strengthening their unity is the fundamental guarantee for overcoming this sensitive phase and preserving dignity and the right to a safe life.
