Protests broke out on Tuesday morning in the town of Al-Attala, administratively affiliated with Shaddadi in Hasakah Governorate, over deteriorating living conditions and inadequate public services in the area.

The protesters called for improvements in public services and the provision of basic necessities, expressing frustration over rising prices, increasing unemployment, and the deterioration of water, electricity, and healthcare services.

Participants in the protests said the area has witnessed a continuous decline in the quality of public services since the Interim Government took control. They added that the government's marginalization of the area has deepened residents' suffering, prompting them to take to the streets to demand their basic rights and relief from mounting economic hardships.
