Residents of Kobani: we will continue resistance, defeat the enemies

The siege on Kobani has continued for a week amid severe humanitarian and living conditions. Despite this, residents and fighters insist on maintaining resistance and rejecting any attempt to breach the city or break its will.

Mahmoud Koran stated that they will resist with all their strength to thwart the enemy’s plans in Kobani, saying: “When we say resistance is life, everyone resists from children as young as seven to elders aged seventy.” He added that they will never allow the enemy to enter their land, which has been watered with the blood of martyrs.

Zozan Bakir emphasized that Kobani is a city of heroes and that the enemy will not dare set foot on its land. She recalled the 2014 victory, saying that with the same spirit of freedom, the people of Kobani will defeat the enemy once again.

Louay Mohammad noted that Kobani resisted with the harshest forms of struggle in 2014 and defeated ISIS gangs, adding that the people will confront any new threat with the same spirit. He stressed that their forces are the people themselves, united in resistance.

Renas Ibrahim stressed that civilians and fighters have made day and night one in defense of the city, affirming that unity between the people and the fighters will lead to victory. He concluded that together they will defeat the brutal enemy in Kobani, marking a victory for the Kurdish people.
