Maintenance crews from the electricity Authority of the Transitional Government began repairing damaged towers today, Friday, along the 66-kV high-voltage line in the Walgha and al-Mansoura areas of the Sweida countryside, accompanied by Red Crescent teams. The line went out of service after the power grid was damaged during clashes.

The 66-kV line is one of the main lines supplying the Shahba and Qanawat substations and large parts of Sweida city. Its outage has resulted in power cuts across wide areas of the province.
