Raqqa residents demand Leader Ocalan’s physical freedom on his birthday

Leader Abdullah Ocalan is considered a prominent figure in the history of the struggle for freedom and justice. He played a pivotal role in promoting coexistence among peoples and supporting women's rights in society.

With the arrival of April 4, the birthday of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the people of Hazima in Raqqa Canton expressed their feelings about this occasion, once again demanding the realization of his physical freedom.

Maria Al-Aziz, an official from the Northern Line Council of Raqqa Canton, congratulated on the birth of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, stating: “We, the women of Syria, demand the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, who granted women a fundamental role in society by liberating them from slavery, oppression, and the prevailing patriarchal mindset.”

The philosopher Leader and his internationalist message

Khalisa Al-Hassan, an official in the Zenobia Women's Gathering, highlighted the philosophical and internationalist dimensions of Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s thought. She said: “Today we celebrate the birth of the internationalist leader and philosopher Abdullah Ocalan, who offered ideas to all nations. We hope this year brings security and stability, and that his physical freedom is achieved, as he advocates for the brotherhood of peoples and peaceful coexistence, which strengthens peace among all components.”

The Leader’s role in unifying peoples

Meanwhile, Mahmoud Al-Khalaf, an official in the Community Protection Forces in Hazima, stated that Leader Abdullah Ocalan presented a vision that unites all communities in the North and East Syria region. He said: “Today, we celebrate the birth of the great leader who united peoples through his ideas and philosophy, not just in Syria, but across the entire world.”

Mahmoud Al-Khalaf added: “We call on the United Nations and human rights organizations to exert pressure on the Turkish occupation state to ensure the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, who represents the gateway to peace.”

The residents of Raqqa Canton agree on the importance of demanding the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, affirming that he is a symbol of peace and coexistence. His ideas inspire generations and represent hope for a future marked by greater justice and stability.
