The Turkish occupation state continues its bombing by land and air on the regions of North and East Syria, targeting the infrastructure and citizens of the region. The goal is to displace the population of the region and occupy it.

Turkish President Erdogan speaks almost daily about his ongoing efforts to occupy the regions of North and East Syria through his statements on every occasion in which he participates, the last of which was on December 6.

The sheikhs and notables of the Arab clans in North and East Syria indicated that the statements and efforts of the Turkish occupation state are not new, and confirmed its continuation against the region in various ways and methods. Where the notable of the Walda clan, Youssef Al-Asaad, said: “We are still suffering from the Turkish criminal attacks on our land, our people, and our country. Even humans and stones were not spared from them. Factories were bombed, and hospitals were bombed. It is an aggression against our people.”

Youssef Al-Asaad stressed that the solidarity of the people of North and East Syria has thwarted these efforts and defeated them from the region until now, and he called on international powers to support our people and limit Turkish attacks by imposing a no-fly zone.

In his turn, the notable of the Al-Afadila clan, Ibrahim Al-Hadi, explained that they stand united in the face of the Turkish occupation state and do not allow Turkey and its mercenaries to occupy new areas. He said: “We have one position, our land is united and our people are united, and we will not allow Turkey or the regime to separate us from each other.”

The notable of the Al-Afadila clan does not rely on international forces to limit the Turkish attacks as much as he relies on the societal forces present in North and East Syria. He stressed that the components of the region have lived with each other for hundreds of years, and said: “We will win with our will and our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces.”

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries target various areas in North and East Syria on a daily basis, sometimes through ground bombardment of the areas adjacent to the areas it occupied in Syrian territory, and sometimes from the air through its drones and warplanes, causing major damage to the targeted infrastructure in the region, in addition to the deaths of hundreds of the residents  of the area were among the martyrs and injured.
