With strong determination, residents of several cities in Jazera Canton persist in their protest at Tishrin Dam to defend it against the attacks launched by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries.

On Monday, March 3, residents from the cities of Derik, Girkê Legê, and Çil Agha arrived at Tishrin Dam to continue their protest shifts with high morale.

The protesters, some of whom are taking part for the second or third time, emphasized that the dam is a vital facility serving all Syrian people and must be protected from ongoing attacks. They stressed that safeguarding the dam is a national duty.

The protesters reiterated the importance of protecting the dam and halting the attacks carried out by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, asserting that these assaults are entirely unjustifiable.
