The city of Qamishlo witnessed a protest against the interim government's failure to include the Kurdish language on official signs, with demands for its reinstatement alongside other languages.

Protesters raised banners affirming the right of the Kurdish language to be present in official institutions, considering its exclusion a marginalization of the region's cultural and linguistic identity.

Residents of Hasakah also protested today in front of the courthouse, condemning the removal of the Kurdish language from the Palace of Justice sign. They emphasized that tampering with the Kurdish language is an attack on the identity and existence of the Kurdish people.
