Today, Al-Watan newspaper denied  any Israeli readiness to open a new front in the Golan.

The newspaper quoted sources from Quneitra as saying that "there is absolutely no truth to what some media outlets are promoting about an Israeli incursion of meters towards Kudna, and everything that has been published in the past few days about Israeli movements in this area and the withdrawal of Russian military points falls within the framework of the psychological warfare by the enemy."

Syrian sources revealed the incursion of Israeli tanks accompanied by vehicles that began paving a military dirt road in the Golan Heights inside Syrian territory.

According to "Syrian TV", recent images showed land leveling and trenches digging operations in the area adjacent to the border fence, coinciding with the Israeli escalation against Lebanon.

The images also showed the vehicles accompanied by a military force consisting of six "Merkava" tanks and two military bulldozers accompanied by a number of Israeli soldiers who entered Syrian territory.

The expected distance to be worked on from the north to the Syrian-Jordanian border is more than 70 kilometers on a winding road that was initially about 200 meters away from the borders of the occupied territories, while it expanded opposite the towns of Ofania and Al-Hurriya to reach more than a thousand meters inside Syrian territory.

The move is a violation of the "disengagement agreement" signed in 1974 between Syria and Israel, following the "October War".
