Precise operation by ISF, IC east of Raqqa

The General Command of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria issued a statement regarding a joint operation with the International Coalition east of Raqqa.

The statement included, "As part of ongoing efforts to pursue terrorist cells, our forces, with the participation and support of the International Coalition, conducted a precise security raid in Jadeida area, east of Raqqa, targeting two members of ISIS terrorist cells involved in carrying out terrorist acts in the region."

The statement further explained, "This operation came after our forces received confirmed information indicating that they were planning to carry out terrorist operations that threaten the security and stability of the region and the safety of its residents."

The command confirmed that "during the raid, the two men immediately opened fire indiscriminately on the forces participating in the operation, necessitating a response that resulted in their injuries, as well as the injury of a woman who was in their residence. They later succumbed to their wounds."

The command called on "the residents of the area to cooperate with the security services and report any suspicious movements or activities that contribute to undermining security and stability, emphasizing that community awareness and solidarity are the cornerstones in confronting terrorism."
