People of Tal Tamr, Zarghan protest against leader Ocalan isolation

Hundreds of people from the cities of Tal Tamr and Zarghan in Jazera came out in a massive demonstration, denouncing the isolation imposed on Leader Abdullah Ocalan, stressing their continued struggle to achieve his freedom.

The demonstration began in front of the Martyrs' Families Council in the city of Tal Tamr amid the chanting of slogans, “Long live the resistance to the leader,” “There is no life without the leader,” and raising pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and banners reading, “The freedom of the leader is freedom for all peoples.”

The demonstration roamed the main streets of the city, and when it reached the end of Martyr Omar Baravi Street, it turned into a mass gathering, during which Abdul Rahman Hussein the member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party in the city of Hasaka delivered a speech in which he said: “We condemn the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan for more than 25 years,” he added, “the leader turned Imrali into a platform for science and free thought.”

Hussein continued: "The Turkish state will not be able to break the will of our people, we will not surrender until achievement leader physical freedom."

The administrator of the Economics Committee, Samah Hammadi, also gave a speech on behalf of the Zarghan City Council, she condemned “the silence of international and human rights organizations, this silence is a disgrace to humanity and the whole world."

She emphasized the escalation of the struggle until the leader's physical freedom is achieved.

The demonstration ended with chanting the slogan, “In spirit and blood, we are with you, leader.”
