This morning, a convoy of people from Raqqa, Tabqa, and Deir ez-Zor headed to Tishrin Dam to take part in protests against the attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries and to protect the dam.

Dozens of women, youth, elderly individuals, and a number of artists and intellectuals gathered at the Al-Fourosya Roundabout west of Raqqa city before the convoy set off towards the dam, following the arrival of the Deir ez-Zor convoy.

The Tabqa delegation is scheduled to meet with the delegations from Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor at the Al-Mahmoudli camp in the eastern countryside of Tabqa.

Since January 8, protests organized by the people of North and East Syria at Tishrin Dam have continued in order to protect it from attacks by the Turkish occupation.
