People of Kobani: No peace without leader Ocalan’s physical freedom

Citizen Mahmoud Mohammed Ali stated: “We will always walk the path of our children, and we will not retreat from the path of resistance. After the leader's call for peace, the Turkish state remained silent. Everyone must demand his physical freedom. Our leader must be among us, for he desires peace, and to achieve that, he must be physically released as soon as possible.”

 He added: “Leader Abdullah Ocalan is not only the leader of the Kurdish people but the leader of all humanity. Everyone must act for his physical freedom. We will continue our struggle to the end and will not stop until we see him free among us.”

 Amira Al-Omar said that their participation at the Tishrin Dam boosts their morale, adding: “ The leader made a call for peace, so why has the Turkish state not extended its hand toward peace until now? We say to the Turkish state: Enough silence. Release leader Abdullah Ocalan physically and open the path to peace, because peace cannot be achieved without the leader. The time for his physical freedom has come. The unity of the Kurds was a historic day, but the freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan must be firmly established.”

 In the same context, Mohammed Ahmed stated that the project proposed by the leader is not only a solution to the Kurdish people's cause, but also to the unresolved issues in the region. He added: “The President of the Turkish Republic, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, must reconsider his stance. We hope that the solution project proposed by leader Abdullah Ocalan will be adopted.”
