Turkey and its allied armed gangs continue their assaults on the region, resulting in the martyrdom of 41 civilians and injuring dozens more.

Maryam Al-Saleh, a resident of Deir ez-Zor, denounced Turkey's attacks, particularly the targeting of Tishreen Dam and civilian infrastructure. She also criticized the international community’s inaction on what she described as "massacres committed by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries."

She stated, "After the downfall of the Assad regime and the establishment of a new Syrian administration, we had hoped for a resolution that would put an end to external aggression against the Syrian people. However, instead of peace, Turkish attacks have escalated."

Similarly, Jaber Al-Faisal from the town of Hajin stressed that "this is not the first time that Turkey and its mercenaries have committed atrocities against the people of Northern and Eastern Syria." He condemned Turkey’s aggressive policies, asserting that these attacks are not merely military operations but part of a broader strategy to destabilize the region and alter its political and demographic landscape, particularly targeting Kurdish and Arab components.

Al-Faisal added, "Turkey justifies its actions under the pretext of protecting its national security, yet in reality, it uses this as a pretext to expand its occupation and displace the region’s original inhabitants."

He further emphasized that the local population remains steadfast in supporting their forces, particularly the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), viewing them as the only hope for safeguarding Syria’s territorial integrity and protecting its people from external aggression.

Khadija Al-Mohammad from Deir ez-Zor condemned Turkey’s continued military operations in the region and reiterated the resilience of the local population against Turkish expansionist ambitions.

he affirmed, "We will remain steadfast in the face of any aggression or attempts by Turkey to occupy Syrian land."
